Have you ever been to an event or gathering where you would like a drink or find a place to put your coat or more importantly (and quickly) you need to know where the bathroom is? And you wonder -where is the waiter when you need one? Well, they’re probably off on a break or looking at their cell phone and gossiping with the other staff unless…Todd the Waiter is on the job.

Introducing, Todd the Waiter. A man born to serve. A man who will do everything in his power to take care of you. Granted he may ask too many questions or share too much information and is always ready to burst into song, but you can count on him to be the most obvious person in the room.
​
Todd the Waiter is the perfect “character” for any type of event – private or corporate that you may be planning. You could hire almost anyone to serve the canapes but who could you hire that will not only serve them but also sing a song and have everyone laughing? Todd the Waiter is the correct answer. He might even sit down and enjoy those appetizers with you.
Terry V. Hart, the founder of ComedyWorks, created “Todd” an outrageous character to entertain during cocktails or luncheons and Todd has become a favourite of folks everywhere. “Todd” enters during cocktails as a waiter/server and while he looks like the other waiters…well, kind of…he is somewhat loud, inept, overly friendly, quirky, a touch irreverent and absolutely hilarious. His antics have some folks starring in complete astonishment and others literally laughing to the point of tears.

MEET TERRY
Terry V. Hart has spent over twenty-five years delighting audiences across Canada and the U.S. He is a master of improvisation, with an extensive background in broadcasting and comedy including being a member of the famed Second City theatre.
As a writer, director and performer, Terry’s corporate credentials include live shows for IBM, Royal Bank, Procter and Gamble, Manpower, PetroCanada, Dun & Bradstreet and Scotia Bank, to name but a few.
In addition to over 50 Canadian and U.S. commercials, Terry has recently appeared on Shitt’s Creek, Private Eyes, and Workin’ Moms. He can also be seen in Disney’s feature film, Simon Birch.

And yes, that’s Terry coaxing hockey prodigy Sidney Crosby in off the ice in a Tim Horton’s commercial.
